cat up a tree

Hi Dan, I have acat 5 months old, Lat night he climbed up a huge pine tree in our yard. Now he is afraid to come down and just meows at us.  Do you know how long a cat will stay in a tree before he comes down? will he comedown? He is way up at the top of tree. ANy suggestions? thanks

If a cat gets chased up there by a dog, some people say he may say up there for a couple of days. If he can't get down, there are in some places a number for you to call. Almost like a cat 911. Call your vet and ask them what you can do to speed him down with being safe. Good luck and sorry
