cat drool

cat started to drool when she's lying down - just started this about 2 or 3 days ago- she otherwise seems fine- eyes clear, playful, and eats normal.  should i be concerned?

I heard once that when a cat drools it means its a sign of happiness and content, however I didn't hear it from a credible source, so I don't really know it's true or not.  I do know that drooling can be a sign of an absess tooth or other mouth problem.  To be cautious, I would take her to the vet to rule out an absess tooth.  If she doesn't have one, the vet will tell you what can be causing the drooling.
