Question
Hi I was wondering if you could tell me what type of cat I have. I'll explain her to you in detail. OK..shes all black, but with one white spot on her neck(its really small). She has a long body and a small head. Shes about 10 months old so I'm pretty sure shes a really petite cat.Shes really playful too. ok well thank you for your help! I hope you can answer my question! k thanks! bye=)

Answer
Your cat is most likely a crossbred (mixed breed).  I have arrived at this conclusion for a number of reasons.  First of all, I'm guessing that you got her at a shelter or rescue center, since you would have already known the breed if she had come from a breeder.  It's a common fact that the majority of all cats that come to shelters are crossbred.
Also, your cat's markings are those that I've seen on many cats that have no specific breed, including a few of my own.  Black is one of the most widespread colors in non-purebreds.  The reason being is that most cat combinations have the genetic capability to produce this color.  As a result, cats in the wild end up producing mass quantities of black cats.  A breeder, however, is very selective with their choices for parents, with a sufficient enough knowledge of genetics to know the color probabilities of the offspring of two cats.  They tend to spring for more exotic-looking colors.  Though there are some breeds, such as Persians, where black is commonly produced.  There is also the Bombay breed, which are always black with copper eyes.
In addition, I have learned to assume that a cat with no known breed usually doesn't have one.  I can tell you, however, that your cat probably has some oriental-type breed in her somewhere, giving her the long body and small head.  Her petiteness may also be cause to believe this.
Thank you for choosing me this time, and please feel free to return with any further inquiries.

Hope I Answered Your Question,
