Question
We rescued our cat 4 yrs.ago from the pound. At the time the vet said that she was probably 3-4 yrs.old.She has been a house cat since we've had her.Our problem is that she has started digging at the carpet in the corners.Yesterday,I picked up 3 handfuls of carpet by a bedroom closet door.I left the door open last night. She did not bother it.This morning,I caught her digging again. She has cleared a spot approx.3x3 so far by the same door. She was at it again just a little bit ago by another door.We have never had this prob. with her.Do we have her declawed? Is there somthing we can spray on the carpet?HELP!!!!!

Answer
You can declaw her, yet some people hate this idea. For this, they made sprays that you can spray where cats will claw. I also heard cats hate the noise of I think tin foil. Someone may recommend putting this down there, so when the cat tries to claw the area it learns not to. I however don't know much about this tin foil idea. Maybe ask your vet what they recommend. Good luck and sorry
