I have a problem!!!

Hello...i have a four month old male and just got a six week old female...the male is very friendly but he will not leave the little girl alone...i don't think he is trying to be mean but he bites her and she screams...i hate to punish him because it is not his fault that we got a new kitten...what can i do to help this situation...please help!!!

First off you should neuter the male cat and the female. This is because of the biology of the cats. He should be neutered soon. Before 6 months. Now, as for fighting, cats go by smell. Some vets may recommend an old trick called the baby powder trick. Talk to a vet about this. Good luck and sorry
