Can a 16 year old cat live with 2 kittens or is that to stressful for the cat?

It depends largely on the cat.  I had a 16 year old cat who absolutely refused to get along with a kitten.  She started peeing everywhere until I returned the kitten.  The only thing you can try is an introduction and if your cat is too stressed out by it, he/she will let you know.  I would think that any cat that has reached 16 years, has earned the right to live out the rest of their lives stress-free.
