cat wiskers

Question
My cat of 12 years of age has lost his wiskers on one side of his face.  What can cause this and should I be concerned?  Thank you for your response.

well im not sure what other then age could cause it. for all of them to be gone tho it must be something. the whiskers are mainly for them to know where they are in relation to things. as long as he isnt bumping into things there shouldnt be much to worry about. you might want to just call the vet tho just to ask if there is any health disorder that causes the whiskers to fall out.
