Any more kittens

My cat had three kittens last night last one was at 3.30 am it is now 9.30 am, anyway she was in a non suitable place so l moved her and for the next two hours she was trying to get back to the bath, eventually l let her down and filled the bath with blankets so they would not be cold again but she has had no more kittens, she seems fat and is a fussy eater and not usually fat so l think she may still have a kitten or two in there, her breathing is faster but no panting, no contractions, but is purring a lot which is not like her she is happily feeding the 3 born so far, using the kitty litter eating and drink as well as walking around. How can l tell if there are more in there, we are rural so our local vet is 8 hours drive.

Wow do I hate to have to tell you this, the only way to know for sure is to check with your vet.  Some cats will empty none horn of the uterus and then wait 24-48 hours and empty the other horn. If nothing happens you can assume that she is done or that there might have been a problem.

Your vet can tell if there is anything left and can give her a shot of oxytocin which will clean out and shrink the uterus and help in milk production.
