kiiten not using litterbox anymore

hello there .. thank you for your help ..
i have three cats one 3yr male scottish fold one 2yr chinchilla and one 5mth ragdollXhimalayan.. scottish fold and chinchilla have no problems with the litterbox .. my kitten was fine with the litterbox until a week ago .. she has chosen the same spot in my bedroom as her private litterbox .. what has happened? why has she suddenly stopped using the box? what should i do? i scoop and change my litterbox very regulary ..

Hi Ting.  You should really get the kitten to a vet.  Usually, when they suddenly stop using the box like this, it's because of a medical condition.  In almost every case when my cats don't use the box, it's been because they have a urinary tract infection or stones/crystals.

It won't hurt to add another litter box or two - the best rule to go by is to have one per cat, plus one extra (four in your case).  You could try a litter on the market called Cat Attract, money-back guaranteed to stop litter box problems.  See www.preciouscat.com.
