is it safe for a cat to eat the red peel off of bologna?

Most red peels off bologna I have seen are plastic, so, in a word, no, this is not safe at all!!!!!

If the cat eats that, you may be in for very expensive bowel obstruction and twisted bowel problems with your kitty. If it has eaten some already, look for signs of constipation and distress trying to use the litter pan.  If any of these symptoms show up, a trip to the vet will be mandatory!
