I cant find this stray cats kittens.

About a week ago I found this stray cat at my work I had been secretly feeding her because she was pregnant and extremely thin so I felt super sorry for her. Well my boss found out and he threw her into the trunk of his car (not literally I hope) to take her to the pound she escaped at a gas station about 3 to 4 miles away well this amazing cat found her way back to the camp at which I worked. We came to look for her yesterday and evidently my boss had seem her in the morning and he said he could tell she was still pregnant but when we found her that night you ciould clearly tell she was not pregnant anymore and her nipples were reddish and swollen. So I be alive she is nursing them and that they are still alive because we haunt seen her all day and can't find her any were until she comes and eats. I know that in cases like this you are most likely not going to find her kittens but I have to remove her and the kittens from the camp by tonight or els my boss will kill her. I need advice on how to search for these kittens. Or if due to stress she may of lost them? I don't know just if there is anything that will help I'd love to hear it.

What an awful thing! Your only hopes are to follow her from a distance after she eats and see if she leads you to the nest, or to walk around and listen for crying, hungry babies.

Chances are, she delivered the litter healthily, but yes, cats can lose a pregnancy due to stress. So that remains a possibility as well.

Best of luck to you in a horrible situation. I'd much rather be you than your boss when karma comes around.
