hey, i hav a cat thats abt 3years old and im looking to get another kitten and im worried that if i do then the older cat will be aggressive towards the new kitten, the older cat is a female and so will the new kitten be.
i was wondering if there is anything i could do to prevent any agression from the older cat?

in the begining for about 4 weeks or so, only let them be together when you can supervise. when you arent home, lock the kitten up in a bedroom with food, water, and a potty. this way they both have their own space when you arent home. you will be know when you can leave them alone together by their behavior when you are home. good luck. it shouldnt be too hard.
