Can Dog kill cat?

My cat, which was with us for the last 10 years passed away yesterday. We dont knowo why and how she die but my neighbours said they heard dog and cat fighting... we found my cat, Comel on the middle of the road! Im so sad.... my cat is healthy i just wonder whether dogs really can kill cat?

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat, that must be very heart breaking to find your cat dead on the road, I'm so sorry.

It is possible for dogs to kill cats but I doubt it was an attack of a dog as your cat would appear mauled or bitten to death. You should inspect for signs of broken skin, bones,etc.
