eating entire birds

Question
Hello, I have a 5-month old beige tiger kitten who I've discovered is an avid hunter. He's been catching birds, and while that behavior doesn't in and of itself bother me, the fact that he's eating the entire bird(s) is concerning to me. He just recently got neutered and his rabies vaccination and he has never become sick from these bird meals, but it's still worrisome to me. He growls when he's got a bird in front of him so I have not tried to take the birds away from him. Is this a problem, or is there anything that I can do to ensure he won't get sick? Thank you so much in advance.  I appreciate your time

Answer
yes he can get very sick from eating birds because they have so many parisites on them. brids can have fleas lice and other nasty nasty things.everytime you see him with a bird say no,or dont let him outside. do you put food down for him
