hi there my kitty missy is at the end of her pregnancy and this morning she woke me up by meowing constantly, she wont leave my side and then about an hour ago she delivered a little parcel of veins.  she has started panting and lying on her side and she seems to be very uncomfortable, she is only 8 months old i am very concerned as she is so tiny. i would be very grateful if you could help thanx ria

Congratulations on becoming a 'grandma'. Nature is very good on taking it's course. The time to be concerned is when she has been pushing for a long time and nothing happens.

My neighbor unfortunately allowed his unspayed female to give birth and she was barely 5 months old...and she had 4 adorable kittens.

Everything should go fine. Just stroke her gently and when she starts having kittens, let her be for a while.

Don't hesitate to give your vet a call to talk to him if you think something may be wrong.
