Senior Cat Walking Strange

I noticed my 17 year cat is walking as if her back legs are stiff or something.  I didn't notice it yesterday so it must have started today.  Any idea what it could be?

Hi Beth,

You need to get her to a vet. It could be a multitude of causes for the lameness such as an embolism, an infection, low serum potassium levels, hyperthyroidism, feline leukemia virus and others. A vet will be able to run the tests necessary and let you know what could be the problem. Good luck and let me know what happened.
