cats lost miow

my cat had to go to the vets 5 days ago as she was coughing and had lost her voice, she was given 2 injections 2 days apart an anti biotic and a cortisone.( vet said she had laryngitis) she is a lot better in her self she is eating and playing fine, but she is still very hoarse and her miow is just a whisper, she is usually very vocal and i wonder if her voice will come back eventually.Thanks

Her voice will come back eventually but it will take time, you can't get her to rest her voice the way you could a person.  If it isn't coming back more than a whisper in, say, a month you could ask the vet for more steroids, but I would just give it time.
