my cat kinda rannaway/gott lost

i had my cat in car with me coming home from my dads , droppin my friend off...
so0 i was at my friends house and a couple of my friends were outside...so0 i got out and my friend was holdin the cat..so0 she ran
we chased her around, then me and my friend waited out side for hours...then i got up early in the morning putting flyers out, goin to peoples houses and lettin people know wat she looked like..etc
i havent been goin to work, iv been cryin and i dnt no what else i can do
?!

Cats tend to stay close to their home territory.  Cats are also very good at hiding in plain site.  What you have done so far is OK.  

You also should check with nearby veterinary clinics, animal shelters and the like.

You can put he favorite food in your garage with he door open slightly and see if she does not turn up.  IF you do spot her in the neighborhood, you can borrow have-a-heart live traps and see if you can trap her.

Sometimes it just takes time before you see her again.  She is probably in a panic and very frightened.

Please keep me aware of what is going on.
