Question
i woke this morning to find my queen has given birth to 1 kitten sadly not alive but not sure if it was still born or died shortly after...my queen now shows no signs of any more kittens coming ...how long should i wait b4 seeing a vet?

Answer
Hi Sam,

If your cat seems to be resting comfortably, you may wait as long as 6 hours. Labor often resumes after a break of a few hours, but there should be no signs of distress during this time. If she begins straining or seems ill or painful, wait no longer than 45 minutes. These are signs something has gone wrong with the delivery.

Best of luck!
