My Mother Cat

My cat's kittens are 8 weeks old. Her kittens have stopped nursing but the mother cat nipples are red and around the nipples feels like dried up hard milk.

I tried putting warm wash clothes on her nipples.

Will this tried up milk go away naturally?

Yes, this will eventually go away.  It takes about two weeks.  You will also notice the teats getting very hard during this time.  That is called "packing up" and is apart of the process of mama absorbing the unused milk.
