Hi,
I don't have a cat but would like to get one. I wanted to know which sex gets bigger and what makes the better pet? Assuming it's spayed or neutered when still a kitten, what has less behavior problems?

Hi Irene,

Glad you're doing a little research first. My own personal preference is to get a male cat. I have found that neutered male cats make the best companions. They are very friendly and extremely affectionate. They are the bigger sex. And once males are fixed they have hardly any behavior problems. The only thing I would suggest is to get two cats. They will keep each other company while you are not around. Hope this helped. Good luck and take care.
