Question
Hi,
I have two cats that were allergy tested for food and tested positive to a variety of proteins including duck, chicken and beef.  The allergy testing company listed Catfish as one of the things tested, and both my cats tested negative to catfish.  There is a new allergy cat food out on the market which has salmon and pea as the main ingredients.  My question is, if they tested negative to catfish would they be able to eat salmon?  Is the protein makeup of Catfish similar to the protein makeup of Salmon?  I can't seem to find an answer for that anywhere!  Thanks so much for your help.

Answer
Hello Julie - I can't find any Firm info on this ....
I would believe that your cat can have the Salmon.  I don't know of too many that are ever allergic to Salmon.

I did search around for you-

Looks like you may need to ask someone else.

sorry, I do wish you luck......
