Question
Hi,
I have a 10 year old German Shepard/Beagle mix, whom I believe to be very healthy, and spoiled! Sasha is an indoor dog, and last night started to get very excited, running in and out of the doggie door, which usually she is very calm.  I noticed her huffing and puffing alot, and just looked at her nose and she has a small, pencil eraser size bump protruding out of what seems to be her nasal canal about 1 inch up from her nose.  I am concerned, not sure what it is?  Is this something I need to bring her in immediatly for, or watch, maybe a pimple inside her nose?  It seems to be semi hard consistency, under her skin, I can not visibly see anything except the bump. If you have any advice, I would greatly appreciate it!  She is my kid!
Thank you!
Madison~

Answer
Definitly consult with your veterinarian asap. It could indicate many things. Like you stated, it could be a zit. But also it could be a tumor or a number of things. Definitly talk to your vet and get it looked at. Sorry for the delay in answering you. I had somethings to take care of here. I hope I helped. Have a great day.
