what is auto immune disease and what are the

Answer
There are many types of autoimmune diseases.  Autoimmune diseases are those in which your own body destroys  part of the body.  Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia is one disease that we see in dogs where the body attacks and destroys its own red blood cells causing severe anemia, weakness, white gums and eventual death if not treated.  Pmphigus usually targets the skin and causes severe crusting and sloughing of the skin.  Lupus can affect the skin, joints, blood cells and kidneys.
