Waffles, my mini dashund , isnt feeling well.

On Monday, I found Waffles playing or trying to eat a lizard.  Monday evening he threw up (looked like clear gel) a few times.  Tuesday he was his normal self.  Wednesday he wasn't playful, just laying around.  He wasn't eating or drinking anything that I noticed.  Thursday he was still the same way but when we had dinner he acted like he wanted something to eat so I gave him some chicken and he ate a little and drank a little water.  He seemed to have chills.  This morning (Friday) he still seems mopey but he did eat a little bit of eggs and drank a little bit of water.  He hasn't thrown up since Monday evening from what I've noticed.  Could this be from the lizard or could there be something else wrong with my Waffles.

I would recommend a trip to the vet for an examination and some blood tests.  He could be sick from the lizard or just coincendental and may have a viral/bacterial infection of some sort.  Small dogs can dehydrate very quickly, and since he has been sick for almost a week you do not want to let it go any longer.
