maltese female exterior skin pimple or lession

Question
I just noticed that my maltese has a round pussy pimple or lesion that looks very irritated.  Are there any images I could possibly look at to try and identify this.

No images that I am aware of but your description sounds like a Staph. pyoderma lesions(bacterial infection) which will need to be treated with antibiotics and perhaps medicated shampoo. Your vet will be able to identify the lesion and treat it appropriately.
