Schnauzer Puppy

I am keeping a schnauzer puppy for a friend.  The puppy is 6 to 7 weeks old. May friend has started the worming treatment.  Now the puppy is bleeding some from the rectum.  Is that serious?  What should I do?

Humble apologies for the delayed response.  Worms can cause a small bit of bleeding however it should resolve relatively quickly.   If there are additional signs of illness and/or the bleeding has continued I would recommend taking the puppy to your veterinarian as something such as parvo virus would be a possibility.
