5 week old kitten

I have a 5 weeks old kitten, that the mother cat stopped feeding and taking care of, So i have been making it go to the bathroom, and feeding him. He is now on some soft food...hes eating Iams. but his stomach is bloated out and he has had diarrhea on and off, but he seems miserable. Anything I can do? or what may be the cause of it?

If he has not been dewormed this may be the cause of the bulged belly and diarrhea.  You can bring a fecal sample to your veterinarian to have it tested. If negative for worms there is also the possibility of a food intolerance either with the Iams or if you happen to be giving him milk.
