Question
QUESTION: live on an acre.  Have a 6 ft wall around the house but I have one dog that goes over.  I simply cannot afford the cost to build my wall higher.  My neighbor is now threatend to call our county not only because this dog comes into her yard but she is tired of our other dogs (15).  We may be in big trouble but I have trying to think of anything I can do to keep that dog in our yard.  Is there a comparable procedure of "clipping their wings" as is done with birds, that might work on a dog?

ANSWER: Hi Jill -  you can place a weight on his neck...Not too heavy - here is a link about this-

You can get a weight like a "bell" or something like this:

QUESTION: not a bad idea.  something we just keep on him all the time right>?  It won't cause harm to him having it on all the time?  He's a long haired dog about 60 pounds

Answer
Hi Jill - YOU can be careful as to how much weight you put into the collar.  YOU can just try a pound and see how it goes... YOU want to take some of the Zing away from his jump or climb...Do you know what I mean?  Yes, he can have it on when outside... You can take it off if you want at night ....
Just check under it for a possible rash... If he gets a rash just put corn starch baby powder on the skin and then put the collar back on top...
good luck
