Going to bathroom in house after spaying

Question
My dog is a border collie, sheep dog mix and is a rescue about 7 months old.  She was spayed 2 days ago.  I took her out about every hour or 2 for the day like I have done for the four weeks I have had her. She went, for both but had soft bowels.  I took her out at 11pm for the last time and while I was getting ready for bed she did both in the dining room, this was the first time since I have had her.  This morning I had her out twice and she went for both outside and as soon as we came in she had a bowel movement again  in the dining room, so soft.  Is this to be expected because she was just spayed and she will adjust when she is eating a regular diet again and has normal bowel movements.  Thank you for your answer to this question, I realize it is a hard one.

Answer
Ruth-  Your girl is still subjected to the anesthesia filtering through her system... Give her some time... ( a few more days)***
Keep up your program of potty breaks every 2 hrs, if possible.  Also, give her a little bit more time outside.

Here are some Nutritional suggestions:
Give her some canned pure pumpkin - 1/4 of a cup per day for 5 days.
This will give her some excellent fiber ... YUM

Next, start her back on her kibble /dog food / at smaller feedings.
If you feed 2 x per day - break the 2 feedings into 3....feedings.
JUST for a few days...

Also, order some NuVET Plus - This is one of the BEST Doggie Supplements in the World... NuVET is called the Ultimate doggie vitamin.  only .55 cents per day for a NuVET wafer treats.  All she needs is one per day -  Will keep her healthy!  A healthy dog means LESS visits to the Vet office.
