How recently had your dog been seen by a doctor before she passed away?

Was she current on her vaccines?

Has she been spayed and at what age?

Thanks -

It is difficult to say what caused your dog's death. Without actually having her body to do a necropsy, I can only hypothesize about what led to her death.  Two possible causes may be fracture of the bladder  and pyometra.   You mentioned that she was dribbling urine around the house before she died.  Dalmatians tend to develop blocked urethra due to urinary stones. Because she was not spayed there is the possibility that she passed away from an infected uterus. Both scenarios are plausible and could have easily occurred if she was not recently seen by a veterinarian.
