Fleas and small worm like things

Question
I have a one year old male cat that has recently gotten fleas...and they are now all through my whole house. I am not sure how to rid my house of them. Do you have any tips? Also, In the main area where he spends his time, I have found hundreds of there little tiny black worms that seem to have a whitish end on them. they curl into tiny balls when bothered, but I am not sure what they are. I am vacuuming them daily. Please help!!! Thanks.

Hi Amanda-  I have some suggestions for your home and the cat:

Remove the cat and anything human or alive ( plants) ... and do one of the bombs ( flea house bombs) -
Follow the directions and make sure you don't go back until it is safe.  Also, prior to bringing everyone back to the house....go over and open some windows.

Next - your cat needs a good flea protection/ you can talk to your vet about the Cat Flea Products that are available.... I have some Natural choices at the bottom of this e-mail... YOU can learn to make our own cat/dog flea sprays and medical salves...

Also, your cat needs a good wormer- Go to the vet or local pet store and get a wormer for cats ( ? round worms)... Follow directions on the package.
