kittens age

I have a kitten i got in August and i don't know its true age. i had her a week and her eye color changed. is this a sign as to how old she is. please give me an idea if you could

Answer
I have seen eye color change up to one year of age, so it is not a reliable indicator. All you can say now, is that you have had her 5 months, so she is ready to be spayed now, before she gets accidently pregnant.
