can dogs get sick from cold weather?

hello my name is Ellissa Halliwell, i currently own two yellow labs. one female and one male. we are having some bad weather. it is raining really bad temeratures are down in the low 40's and i was wondering if dogs can get sick from cold weather like we humans do? if u could get back to me on this i would appricate it thank you.

Dogs do get influenza from viruses just like we do. If a dog is not used to being outside it can be very detrimental to their health. It is recommended for humane reasons that dogs kept as pets have warm, enclosed housing outside that is rain proof or be kept inside during inclement weather.
