Question
My 3 year old Yorkshire Terrier has been acting strange lately. He sits in a  certain spot then moves about 10-15 minutes later. But when he moves he only walks about two steps then repeats the process. This is very unlike his normal and energetic behavior. Even his favorite treats couldn't get him to run. We think this might have something to do with his skin and/or ears. But we are not sure. Please help! Thank you! Have a nice day.

Answer
He needs to be checked by your vet. They can check to see if there is an ear infection or a skin problem.  Sometimes there is a hair knot (matt) that is painful when he moves.  Many Yorkies have knee and hip problems that will make them reluctant to walk.
