my 7 year jack Russell beagle mix started to pee on the couch floor he cant control it he has started  this yesterday its like you turned the water on very low and its trickling out non stop

This could happen from a number of causes.  Something like excessive water consumption can cause him to produce more urine.  But so can diseases like diabetes and Cushing's.  You might want to have his urine checked to see if there is something wrong, like an infection.  Sometimes, it is a problem with the muscle controlling the urethral muscle in which case medicine to tighten up the muscle may help.
