My nephew has a 5 month old...

My nephew has a 5 month old Shitzu dog. He has basically been living in a
small kitchen area most of the day and he pees and poos everywhere. There
lifestyle doesn't work with owning a dog. I would like to take the dog.
However I have 2 Lhasa Apsos one is 14 and one will be 9.
The Shitzu came over one evening and as a cute puppy went crazy. Neither
of my dogs really seemed to like him. I have one female and one male.
What can I do with the dogs so that they will accept the Shitzu as I would
like to give him a good home. How do I introduce and make sure they get
along. I am worried my dogs might bite him. Please advise. Thank you.

Initially, there will be territorial issues.  Then after your dogs realize that there is no threat, they will get used to each other.  Try and give them small periods of time together, but not at feeding time.  As time goes on, give them more and more time together.
