itches

My dog itches, she will scratch and bite her self so bad that she has no hair around her flank area, She just had puppys. What can i buy for this and where can i get it.    Thank

  If she just had puppies I would take mommie and her babies in to see the vet., they need a check up. It is the right think to do for them. Your dog may have fleas that are causing her to bite herself. She also need to be dewormed with a safe medication from the vet. You can look for a good flea control like Advantage, Frontline, or Revoultion online, but very careful with what you use, because some products you cannot use on nursing female dogs. P.s- try to have her spayed (fixed) after she is finished nursing the puppies.
