ANSWER: Sounds like the typical pet shippers ripoff that I warn about on my website
Shipping charges are based upon size of shipping kennels. Probably British Air from Miami would
be best. Where in FL are you? They must travel as cargo only.
BA phone is: 888.578.4806 Sometimes they require you to use a pet shipper. If the quotes are
too high, let me know and I think we could save you several thousand dollars.
Do they have the EU pet passport at this time? When are you leaving for UK?
Has anyone told you that you can take them as excess baggage to the continent, then, get their
tick and tapeworm treatment, then continue on to UK as ex bag? Much cheaper.....

QUESTION: We are in Kissimmee Florida.
They don't actually have the pet passport. When we moved out here we didn't think we would be going back, but due to family we are returning. My dogs had the 3 year rabies vaccination in 2008, they had their rabies titer in July 2009 all passed, so as of January 2010 they were all ok to leave.I know i have to get a certificate through my vet before they leave and also tick & tape 24-48 hours before flying. Not sure what else i need for a pet passport??
We are hoping to leave June/July2010.
I have some quotes and im expecting some more in the next few days so i will keep you updates on them.

ANSWER: You don't get the pet passport in the USA. Only in the EU including UK
I can get you a quote as well. I must have the maximum 3 outside dimensions of each kennel.
NO ONE can give you an honest estimate without this info. If they do not have the dims, then
they are just taking you to the cleaners. Also, weight of each dog.
UK is the toughest country in the world for demanding larger kennels than really necessary.
Be sure each dog can stand, with head as high as possible, nose forward. MUST have at least
3" room over highest point of top of head to floor. Are you using the same kennels they came over from UK? Are the dogs all microchipped? Must be.....
Also your breed of dogs must also have larger kennel.
Look out for these pet shippers. Read my website....

QUESTION: Sorry i forgot to say ideally flying from Orlando Airport or Sanford Airport. Going to London Gatwick ot London Heathrow.We would take them to the airport, but not sure if we will be flying out on same day. My sister will collect them in London.
