QuestionQUESTION: I want to relocate my spitz, Jessie to Canada from Malaysia. Is it advisable to do so since it's almost a 30 hour flight with more than one transit? And if it's possible which airlines is pet-friendly for the long trip?
ANSWER: Where in Canada is the final destination? Are you going to Canada,
or just Jessie? If you are, what are your flight plans? Are you
able to change these plans if I came up with a better plan?

QUESTION: Toronto, Canada and yes i most probably will be travelling with her. It's just thati want to know more on relocating her from Malaysia to Toronto and the whole procedure.. Thanks for the first reply though
AnswerMost people such as yourself think ONLY of the Pacific route to
Canada or USA By far, a MUCH better routing is:
Lufthansa from Kuala Lumpur KUL to Frankfurt FRA to Toronto YYZ
or KLM via Amsterdam AMS to YYZ One airline ALL the way, only
one connection, and the total flight time is less than half of the
proposed pacific route.......
You may end up paying a little more for a ticket, but would be so
much less stress for you and Jessie.
Jessie could travel as excess baggage and would clear customs with
you at YYZ
Should you need help in KUL, try: DawnKen tel 603 7876 0428
For entry requirements into Canada, visit: www.ipata.com
There are several members thruout Canada. Should not be any different than USA, and we only require health cert issued within
10 days of flight and a valid rabies vac.
