Travel & Documents For Rabbit To Turkey

Hello there in the future aproximately 2-3 months I will be heading back to Turkey to be with my husband and live there on a residence permit....what do I need to bring my rabbit with me documents shots and how does he trave hes too big to travel on board with me hes about 5-6lbs and I know nothing of pet flight with a rabbit...only that he doesnt need a rabies vacine and i will be only taking a direct flight to turkey...non stop from manchester NH to Istanbul turkey. There would be no flight from Manchester, NH to Turkey.  What kind of flight plan do you have?
Best to have your husband, who is in Turkey now, correct? to contact Turkish customs authorities
as to entry of the rabbit
I am sure you can not take rabbit in the cabin.  Could go as excess baggage.  What airline(s)
are you traveling on?  Ask them.....
