Moving to the Dominican

My friends are moving to the Dominican they are taking there 3 rottweilers what are the requirements to bring these dogs into the country?

You don't tell me from where the dogs would fly from?
Taking them as excess baggage is much cheaper and would clear customs with the people.
Continental, American and Delta all have flights to Santo Domingo from various cities
Check with airlines as to paperwork required.  Also, contact DR embassy or consulates for entry
requirements.  I don't seem to have that info handy.  I would need to research the same way
Certainly at least:  APHIS 7001 international health cert issued within 10 days of travel and
endorsed by usda.  Also, rabies vac at least 30 days old and less than 1 yr
Also should be current on ALL vacs.  Also, check re: heartworm protection
Use bottled water ONLY
