Question
Hi i was wondering,What is the minimum tank size (number of gallons)for a saltwater aquarium?Does it have to be huge? Thanks for your info!Im just a begginer.

Answer
Maddi,
I will always recommend that you buy the biggest aquarium you can afford to give room to in your house and budget.  As for a minimum... I personally wouldn't go any smaller than say a standard 29 gallon.  It's fairly easy to set up and maintain, but even in a tank that size you can really only keep like 3 to 4 smaller fish.

I suggest picking up a good book like Robert Fenner's The Conscientious Marine Aquarist to help you educate yourself on the hobby before buying the tank and equipment.  This may save you money in the long run.  We carry it on our online catalog, and I think it might even be on sale.  Feel free to check it out at www.aquariumcrazyfish.com

Best of luck with your new hobby!
