Filtration media

I have a 45gallon corner aquarium that I am setting up for a reef tank.  My filter is a fluval 404.  My question is what type of media do yousuggest in the filter?

Jason,

We have the same filter so I will tell you what has worked for me in my reef tank.

Use:
1. Fluval Biomax Top Chamber
2. Biomax with some  fluval Carbon  middle chamber
3. Pre-filter media and floss  bottom chamber

4.  I also use two other products called Chemi-pure which keeps my PH balanced.  And I love a product called Purigen by Seachem.  I place these two in my middle chamber.  This will keep your water nice and clear.
