QuestionWhat do you think about the product advertised in no sick fish dot com. Is it too good to be true? I have a new angel/emporer juvenile that might be showing the beginning signs. don't think I can catch him and quarintine him without moving all the live rock out and stressing out others. 130 gallon non reef Just changed the water with R/O Still seems very active and is feeding on healthy pellets and mysid shrimp. Have banghai cardinals, red flame darts ,damsel, clown and crabs as tank mates
AnswerHi Bill,
I've never used the product. Honestly, I'd like to ask you that if you do, you could be kind enough to let me know the results. It's certainly expensive.
If the angel is showing signs of crypto (not ich in saltwater, it's actually cryptocarion), known as saltwater ich, you should catch all the fish, put them in a hospital tank to treat all of them, perhaps with the medication in the ad, and heat it to 78F, no higher.
While they are being treated, leave their real home vacant for over 30 days. The only SURE way to kill the ich in saltwater fish is to leave the tank empty so that the little parasites can cycle out of existence.
It's the one sure way.
I hope this helps. :)
Happy fish-keeping.
