small pink worms??

I put a new crushed coral in my saltwater tank a few months ago. Tonight I walked into the room it is in and put my room light on and noticed quite a few little pink wiggling wormlike creatures. Is this something I should be concerned about. Since they seem to come out when the aquarium light is out I cannot take a picture of them. Thanks for any help. Gerry

Hi there, If you take a torch with red cellophane over it a couple of hours after the lights go out you will see a whole new life in your tank. Most are harmless. The worms you speak of could be bristle worms or something similar. Without a picture its hard to be sure. Try this link for some useful ID's http://www.melevsreef.com/id/ Hope that helps.
