Question
I recently got a splendid looking little Sailfin Tang, he acclimated great and is happily chasing down the little brine or mysis shrimps I thaw and feed. My reading on the Sailfin is saying they MUST have added greens or else . . . what's the best way to do that? I don't want to rely on the answers you find in the obvious places-the literature from the company that's telling you to buy their product, etc. I'd like to know what someone who actually feeds supplemental green foods does, how they do it and how necessary it is. I have a 55 gallon fish only set up with 60- 75 pds of live rock, a healthy macroalgae forest IN the aquarium- caulerpa(sp?) type planty things, and an average amount of algae I'd guess. I'm not over 15 or so snails right now and a few shrimps, crabs, Lenny the Lawnmower Blenny, his cousin Kenny the bicolor Blenny, the Devil and Mrs. Jones yellowtail damsels and Mr. and Mrs. Tomato Clownfish.

Answer
Hey Rachel

The easiest way to feed greens is Nori, which is dried seaweed. Petsmarts seem to sell it. It comes with a clip and you just attach it on, i have to use it for my tangs. it takes a day or two for them to notice it, but its the best way to feed greens when they do
