Tube Worms??

I have dozens of tiny tubes, out of which come ultra thin wormlike creatures, exploring along a rock often 4-5 inches from the opening. They have no crown, and will snap back inside in an instant. Is this a type of tube worm?

   Go to about.com and click on games and hobbies, next page, lower left click on saltwater aquariums, you will then be at the site run by Stan and Debbie Hauter. This site is a wealth of info.
