Answer
Hey luis.

congrats on the mushroom coral... got a picture you want to share???

I like mushrooms cause they are all different colors and shapes and sizes..

I have some that are a metallic blue, and they shimmer just like metallic color should...

BUT, as you know, they are hard as hell to get 'mounted' where you want...

There are some tips and tricks, and i will be glad to share some with you...

If you have some frag plugs or frag discs, that might make it easier when you are a newb fragger... if not, a broken live rock will work just fine... live rocks break really easily.. they are very pourus and basically can crumble if you are a bit stronger, but if not, then a few medium hits with a hammer will snap them apart well...

I use a fabric/nylon material to wrap the mushroom and rock... the material is like for vails or lace...

You can use a rubber band to keep the vail material in place around the rock, or you can tie it into a knot, or you can superglue, (gel).

let hte rock/frag rock, be without moving or disturbing it as best as you can...

then in about a few weeks or so, the mushroom will attach to that smaller rock, and you can remove the vail/material... and then you can mount/glue that rock to larger rocks if you want...

I hope this helps, and if you have more questions i suggest posting them at www.thelittleocean.com

It is a free, with no advertizing forum where you can talk to and write your questions or whatever and get information from everyone viewing / visiting that forum...

I look forward to seeing you there and seeing pictures of your mushroom too
