tank

hi again glenn. so i cleaned out the tank scrubbed filter and heater washed live rock and crush coral etc. i put the water pack in the aquarium with filter heater sand and live rock and NO cloudy water! i hate to say it but i used dawn dish washing detergent and a tooth brush to clean it. it works great with and without salt still. but i didn't know if i could still put in the aquarium. (i haven't yet.) as for the protein skimmer i got an o ring but i was able to get the on in the area on the INSIDE cleaned and put it back in and it is nice and snug. i also got the air valve from wal-mart. lastly, i didn't get that middle tube out yet. i is hard becuase i have tried but i can't obviously use any grease to ease it out but i doubt grease will work any way. do you know anything that might help shimmy it out? thanks!

Good to hear! Just make sure you rinse and rinse anything that you used detergent on. And give it a LONG cycle time too to make sure no detergents are present in the water.
The only way to get the inner tube out is to just work it back and forth very slowly and carefully. Keep me updated bud.
